Core Curriculum Guide

The purpose of this guide is to provide a generalized outline of learning objectives and skills to school faculty, students, and parents.

Using as resources the curriculum expertise of the archdiocesan Catholic Education Office, national and state standards, the considerable talent of the school’s teachers, and developed through prayerful and frank discussions, this guide will serve the school community well for many years.

Realizing that the science and art of education are continually evolving, the core curriculum guide is a living document - subject to review on a regular basis so that it addresses the educational needs of the students and provides a blueprint for the teachers as they develop and practice their individual instructional skills.

The core curriculum guide will be a framework for one of the most important goals of the entire school program - to develop in each student a desire and the tools necessary for lifelong learning that far outlasts letter grades or certificates of achievement.
