Soccer Registration Deadlines

The MQP Soccer registration link for the FALL 2018 SEASON is now active.  Please go to the following website to register.   Players currently in Grades 4-7 should register by Saturday, April 28.  The first evaluation is Sunday, April 29.  Players in K-3 should register by May 31.

The fourth grade girl scout troop is in charge of the cake walk at Spring Festival. The cake walk is an event where contestants play a game similar to musical chairs with baked goods as the prizes.  In order to make this Spring Festival tradition a success we need lots and lots of delicious goodies, homemade or store bought, to use as prizes. Math Competition

On Thursday,  April 12th, the Catholic Math League held its final contest of the year at St. Justin Martyr Grade School. Two Mary Queen of Peace teams, comprised of twelve 6th, 7th and 8th grade students, attended and participated in the competition.  Both teams won Red Ribbons! Scholar Bowl

On April 11, six teams comprised of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders traveled to Bishop DuBourg High School for their Annual Grade School Scholar Bowl Competition. Students were selected from the Scholar Bowl Explorer elective to attend this fun academic event.  The students were administered an individual written test consisting of math, history, grammar, and pop culture questions. Top scores were called to represent their school in a team against team competition complete with actual buzzers!  This year, MQP really excelled! Mary Queen of Peace School is currently seeking to hire the following positions. * Two Paraprofessionals to serve students in our Inclusion program for the 2018-19 school year. This position will involve providing services for a class and/or direct assistance to individual students. Their duties will vary depending upon the age of students served as well as the nature of the needs of the students.
