Mary Queen of Peace will be hosting Luke 18 Retreat for 8th graders in October 2020! Luke 18 is a weekend long retreat inviting 8th graders to grow deeper in their faith —to help them see that they are not only the future of our Church, but they are also the Church right now. Parents of parish school students are now being asked by the Archdiocese of St. Louis to screen more carefully their children before they arrive at school. So, parents will be asked to do the following every school day for every child before 7 am: Take your child(ren)’s temperature. Because so much will be new this year, we have decided the first three days of school (August 19, 20 and 21) will be half days. While we realize that might be an inconvenience for some of you, we believe this will help students transition into the new learning environment, and will allow us time to evaluate more quickly what is working and what is not working so we can make any necessary adjustments to keep our students and staff safe and healthy. We will be updating dismissal procedures to reflect half days and we will share that in this Friday’s MQP Weekly.

We are getting excited about the upcoming 2020/2021 school year!
