Bridge Bread Is Back for the Holidays!

Do you need some fresh-baked goodies for Christmas?  Look no further!  The 8th grade Girl Scout troop is organizing a Bridge Bread sale for the holidays.  Instead of purchasing in-person on Hospitality Sunday, you can shop and securely pay online on Bridge Bread’s web site.  Items will be delivered to MQP so you can safely shop, right from your own home!  We will offer curbside pickup at MQP on Sunday, December 20.

Bridge Bread sells a wide selection of baked goods, including sweet rolls, sweet and savory breads, bagels, brownies, cookies, scones and cakes.  There are also special assortments that offer a combination of items for just $10.  There’s something for everyone!  If you don’t need any bakery goods for yourself but would like to help the hungry in our area, you can purchase bread to be donated to a local food pantry.

Please place your order by noon on Friday, December 18.  Items can be picked up at MQP on Sunday, December 20 between 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.  The Girl Scouts will offer curbside pickup -- you don’t even have to leave your car!  Just park outside the Lubeley Room (basement of the Rectory), and we’ll bring your order out to you!

Bridge Bread is a nonprofit enterprise that provides jobs to people without safe and stable housing.  MQP has been supporting Bridge Bread for years by selling their products on Hospitality Sundays and school stewardship events.  By ordering this holiday season, you are helping the bakers maintain employment and their independence.  That is one of the best Christmas gifts you can offer someone!

To order, visit https://bridgebread.square.site and select the items you’d like.  Please choose “Shipping” next to “How to get it” and then click the “Add to Cart” button for each item.  Before you’re ready to check out, scroll down to “Special Programs” (after all the product listings), choose “Deliver to Event”, select “Deliver to Mary Queen of Peace for December 20” and then click the “Add to Cart” button.  If you are donating bread to a food pantry, select “Bread for the Pantries” under “Special Programs”.  You can pay via Google Pay from your shopping cart or you can enter your payment information during checkout (click the “Review and Submit Order” button to finalize your order).

If you have any questions about ordering, please call Bridge Bread at (314) 296-3077 or email orders@bridgebread.org.  If you have questions for our Girl Scout troop, please email gsem4307@gmail.com.  Thank you for supporting this great cause and have a very Merry Christmas!
