Mary Queen of Peace Parish and School is excited to announce the installation of a new security camera system for the entire campus. 26 exterior and interior cameras will cover entry points into buildings, parking lots and other main gathering areas. A new video intercom station will be installed on the east side of the school so as to keep our faculty, staff and PSR students safe. The purpose of the system is to have video we can share with the proper authorities, if needed. We anticipate training to be complete and the system to be up and running by the time school starts (mid August). The security system is being made possible by generous donations from the Home & School Association, the Athletic Association, Men’s Club, and the Women’s League as well as funding from the parish. We are grateful to the parishioners who shared their professional expertise as we developed a list of needs, created detailed plans, thoroughly vetted vendors, and continue to guide the installation of the cameras.
